DAY 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

You will be picked up from your hotel or riad in the morning. Our destination will be  the DADES valley  taking the tizi n tichka pass; one of the most spectacular drives in Morocco.  We will be crossing the high atlass mountain after climbing up to 2260 metres  above sea level  to get to AIT BEN HADOU  KASBAH. Here we will be visiting the most important world heritage site  in Morocco according to UNESCO  since 1987. Besides the amazing history of the kasbah that we are going to learn with our tour guide; we will be amazed to learn about all the movies that were shot here. Of course if you have seen GLADIATOR; lawrance of arabia; prince of persia … you will have already seen the kasbah before but today you will be a part of its magic. After lunch; we will be heading to Ouarzazate or as we call it the Moroccan Hollywood or the city without noise, to begin our drive to the valley of thousand and one kasbahs,  through kalaat Mogona or the roses valley and skoura to reach our last destination which will be the Dades gorge.

DAY 2: Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

After a typical Moroccan breakfast, we will depart from your accommodation in Dades gorges at 8 am, we will be heading to Merzouga desert where will be spending the night. However, before we arrive there we will visit tinghir and todra gorge, which will be our first stop, 45 km from Dades Gorge.  We are going to discover the fascinating views of the palm grove of todra valley and  and the Jewish quarter. We will continue to the highest part of the gorge which is 200 metres above sea level. A perfect place for a coffee break and, perhaps, a short walk.. Afterwards we will leave for Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga desert ; where we will arrive in time to watch the sunset. You will have the unique experience of taking a camel ride for one and half hours in order to reach our camp-site; nomadic tents having all the facilities needed for a unique stay in the desert enjoy a memorable party with the Berbers drumming and singing around the camp fire and under the shining stars of the night sky.

DAY 3: Erg Chebbi – Tazarine – Agdez – Marrakech

Today we will wake up early to ride the camels back and stop along the way to watch the sunrise. After breakafast we will drive back to Marrakesh.  The first part of the drive will take us through Tazarin; a small Berber village in the Draa valley and a remote area side by side with the anti atlas mountain before we rejoin the main road after Agdez.  We will then drive through the highest  pass in Morocco: Tichka pass. We will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon where you  will be taken to your accommodation.
